When no longer a happy couple or recently declared independent paths, many individuals still agree to go on distant adventures together.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and British singer Chris Martin, after announcing their split, took their two children straight to the Bahamas for relaxation and to avoid public scrutiny. However, they are not the only ones participating in a trip when no longer a couple. According to a survey by Lastminute.com, 39% of Brits also approve of this action.

29% of women surveyed admitted they still join a trip even if their ex is part of the group, even when they already have a new partner. However, only 16% of men dare to do this when they have a new girlfriend. The majority of those surveyed in the 25-35 age group agree to travel with an ex-lover even when they have someone new.
Additionally, 32% of those surveyed in the 25-34 age group admitted to having intimate moments with an ex during trips, such as sharing a bed.
Matthew Crummack, CEO of lastminute.com, noted that many studies have shown that spontaneous trips truly evoke positive and joyful feelings. Many also commented that the company they travel with is not crucial, as long as everyone feels happy and content.
