The creator of this artwork, Twitter user '@SoulKingLives,' is renowned for reimagining anime characters with different skin tones. He has redrawn characters from Jujutsu Kaisen, Tokyo Revengers, Ranking Of Kings, garnering significant attention from anime fans. On April 18, he shared his rendition of Anya Forger with a darker complexion, which received numerous responses from the anime community. Many fans believe that depicting Anya in Spy X Family with a darker complexion is inappropriate.
