If you start hiking up the mountain at 5 PM, you'll reach the summit around 10 PM. A smaller group with good health can climb within 3-4 hours, while larger or less experienced groups might take 5-6hours. Each member will need to carry between 7 to 10 kilograms, including personal gear, water, food, and tents. In the first hour, you'll feel weary due to fatigue and hot weather, but in return, you'll be treated to countless breathtaking views, with a radiant sunset disappearing behind banana groves and villages.
The night scenery at Ba Den is even more beautiful around 7-8 PM because the streetlights are brighter then. The night at Ba Den is enchanting with thick layers of mist, limiting visibility to 5 meters. The weather is cool and the space at the foot of the mountain is enchanting with the city lights already shining, illuminating the entire sky. From the mountain top, looking towards the east, the fog at 1 AM saturates the trees, bushes, and signs, creating incredibly enticing and surreal scenes.

According to experienced mountain adventurers, to catch a beautiful cloudy sunrise, it must rain the night before so the clouds can float freely in the wind. Otherwise, the morning will only be filled with heavy dew and cold winds. You should wake up around 5 AM to witness the sunrise; don't delay because those seconds are fleeting, and you'll miss the beauty of the sky. Around 5:45 AM, the sun bursts red across the sky, casting pink rays onto Dau Tieng Lake, painting the rural landscape with vitality. If you visit Ba Den without seeing the sunrise, it's as if you haven't set foot here. Every corner of Ba Den at sunrise is captivating to everyone. Waking up early in a distant place, you'll be gifted scenes that are hard to forget.
