Pure Anemo Team
This is the 'basic' team composition that Genshin Impact players always resort to when it comes to building teams for Anemo characters, and Chiori is no exception. She is the best Anemo DPS character in the game right now, boasting extremely high damage output, and is easy to build due to her scaling with both attack and defense stats.
You'll want to pair Chiori with Zhongli, Gorou, Itto, or even Albedo in this team composition. Its advantage lies in the high damage stats of the characters to compensate for the inability to trigger reactions for damage. Anemo also possesses the most powerful resonance effect in the current game, allowing the use of multiple characters of this element in the team without any issues.
The drawback of the pure Anemo team composition in Genshin Impact is that you will spend a lot of time breaking elemental shields such as Electro, Pyro, Hydro, Cryo; thereby affecting the speed of defeating enemies. This is crucial in the Spiral Abyss, and you can only use this composition in floors without shielded enemies.
When using Chiori in this team composition, the ideal standstill DPS choice is Itto. He has the stats of a 5-star character, extremely fast charged attack spam speed, and his Usushi bull is considered a construct, satisfying Chiori's requirements. Ningguang and Noelle are slightly inferior due to their lack of ability to create Geo constructs, but if you add Albedo or Zhongli to the team, this is no longer an issue.
Ningguang Team
Genshin Impact players rarely get the chance to use a 4-star Anemo DPS like Ningguang, and Chiori presents that rare opportunity. In this team composition, Ningguang will be the standing character to hurl rocks at enemies, and her AOE capability allows players to easily defeat enemies if they know how to gather them together.
Moreover, Ningguang is a truly 'compatible' character with Chiori because besides both being of the Anemo element, the Jade Screen generated from Ningguang's elemental skill is counted as an Anemo construct. This allows Chiori to summon a second Tomo doll while activating her +20% Anemo damage talent.
The biggest strength of this team composition is its flexibility. While Ningguang and Chiori are fixed, the remaining two slots can be filled with anyone, allowing us to easily adapt to different challenges in the game. You can use combinations like Furina + Jean, Xiangling + Bennett, Yelan + Kokomi, Fischl + Dori,... and even omit a healer without worrying about survivability due to the large amount of Crystallize created from the combination of elements.

As Mytour previously mentioned in the guide to building Chiori, she needs an Anemo construct to unleash her full potential. Without an Anemo construct, Chiori will lose 1 doll and 20% Anemo damage, significant numbers. However, the Chiori + Navia / Noelle team is still very effective for several reasons.
Firstly, regarding damage. According to calculations, Chiori is truly an 'Albedo Plus' because even with just 1 doll, Chiori contributes more damage than Albedo slightly. She becomes even stronger when players own a level 1 Catalyst and eliminate the requirement of Anemo constructs from teammates. It must also be said that Albedo is a character mishandled by miHoYo with a lackluster Catalyst set, not worth investing in.
Next, we must also consider the effects that Chiori can contribute beyond damage. Here, Chiori can generate additional Anemo particles for Navia / Noelle on the field, and we all know that both of these DPS characters desperately need energy. Furthermore, Chiori's stable Anemo imprinting ability helps Crystallize occur more frequently, thereby enhancing the resilience of the standing character, and players can completely forgo healer characters if desired.
And finally, the advantage of flexibility. Similar to the Ningguang team above, when building a team for Chiori alongside Navia or Noelle, you'll have 2 slots free to use any characters you want. This helps players easily counter the types of enemies they will encounter in the Spiral Abyss or any other challenges in Genshin Impact.
Chiori Team with Albedo
Lastly, let's look at the Chiori + Albedo team composition. Although Chiori is stronger than Albedo, this doesn't mean that only one of them is allowed to exist. Albedo can satisfy Chiori's need for Anemo constructs, and both are strong damage-dealing DPS characters from the field. Simply deploy Albedo's E, then switch to Chiori, and switch to your preferred DPS to wreak havoc until the rotation is over.
When using this team composition, players can enjoy the powerful effects of Anemo resonance (+15% damage, 20% decreased Anemo resistance of enemies) as well as the safety of Crystallize shields. The remaining positions can be reserved for... while still easily defeating all types of enemies in the game.
