Hello there! Indeed, Unikey has the capability to convert text from accented to unaccented. To accomplish this, please follow our instructions below:
You need to have the latest version of Unikey software, which can be downloaded here: Download Unikey
Step 1: Open the text you want to convert and select the entire text using the combination Ctrl+A. Then, copy the text using the combination Ctrl+C (See image below)
Step 2: Open Unikey by right-clicking on the program icon in the toolbar and selecting “Tools…[CS+F6]” or pressing the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+F6
Step 3: The Unikey Toolkit window appears. Check “Remove accents” then Click “Convert encoding”
Note: Make sure the source code is set to Unicode and the destination code is TCVN3(ABC). If not, you have to Click “Reverse encoding” before Clicking “Convert encoding”
Step 4: Once the program displays the message “Successfully converted RTF clipboard” as shown below, Click “OK” to close them.
Step 5: Open a new Word document by selecting New from the toolbar
Step 6: Here, right-click and choose Paste or press the shortcut Ctrl +V to paste that text into the document, and you'll get the result as shown below
That's how you successfully convert a text from accented to unaccented using the Unikey program. Additionally, you can explore other features of the Unikey software such as converting text to uppercase or converting text to lowercase... Wish you success!
