Photographer Frédéric Lagrange reveals being mesmerized by the serene and majestic beauty of Mongolia.
Awe-inspiring tranquility on the Mongolian steppe

Frédéric Lagrange currently resides and works in New York (USA). He has been practicing photography since 2001, and Mongolia is the first country he chose for his creative work.

The geography of Mongolia is diverse, featuring the Gobi Desert to the south, frigid mountains to the north and west, with the highest peak being Khüiten at 4,374m in the Tavan Bogd mountain range to the far west. The Uvs Nuur basin is recognized as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site since 2003.
Lagrange is struck by the breathtaking landscapes, from vast deserts and majestic mountains to endless plains, revealing to Business Insider that he was 'captivated by the astonishingly tranquil beauty of Mongolia.'
Over the past 17 years, Lagrange has visited Mongolia 13 times, exploring numerous facets of this country, capturing landscapes and the lives of its people throughout the four seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter.
