ASUS unveils a new lineup at CES 2024, including Strix Scar 18, Strix Scar 16, Strix G18, and Strix G16. All models are equipped with outstanding features and performance.
The highlight is the Strix Scar 18, the first 18-inch gaming model from ROG featuring a mini LED ROG Nebula HDR Display. The display boasts a maximum brightness of up to 1100 nits and a 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, providing an incredibly immersive gaming experience. All 6 laptop models support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, as well as integrated RGB LED lighting on each key and Aura Sync.

The entire ROG Strix laptop lineup boasts the power of the Intel Core i9-14900HX processor with 24 cores and 32 threads, capable of handling heavy tasks and AAA games. Strix Scar 16 and 18 are expected to be equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU with a maximum TGP of 175W, while Strix G16 and G18 are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU. These GPUs deliver remarkable rendering performance, robustly supporting AI tools like DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation.

In terms of cooling capability, these laptops feature a Tri-Fan system and liquid metal named Conductonaut Extreme on both CPU and GPU. This advanced cooling system ensures maximum performance during prolonged usage. Additionally, the laptops support up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSD, meeting various usage needs, maximizing multitasking, and providing vast storage space.

The product design has been refreshed to enhance the recognition of the ROG lineup with a Cyberpunk style. ASUS ROG Strix comes with a full range of connectivity ports including Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Moreover, the laptops support WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3, feature a 90Wh battery, and run Windows 11 Pro. Users can distinguish between ASUS ROG Strix Scar G16 and G18 versions and the Scar 16 and 18 based on screen size, weight, and hardware specifications.
ASUS ROG Strix Scar is set to launch in the US at the end of January, starting at $2899.99 for the 16-inch version and $2999.99 for the 18-inch version. Pricing for the Strix series has not been disclosed yet.
