At IFA 2023, Honor introduces the innovative V Purse concept, a foldable phone that can also be worn as a handbag.

The design of the Honor V Purse blends elements of a foldable phone with a fashionable handbag. It features a wrap-around screen that can be folded outwards and interchangeable straps for customizable aesthetics. Honor sees the V Purse as a way for electronic devices to be considered fashion accessories, offering 'unlimited opportunities for self-expression'.

However, the Honor V Purse remains an electronic device rather than a bag for storing belongings. You cannot store items inside it, but you can wear it as a fashion accessory. With its fold-out screen, Honor has provided options for interchangeable interactions, allowing you to tailor them to match your outfit.

Honor announces collaboration with top talents to design AOD style for V Purse, including Burberry's men's fashion director Bram Van Diepen, artist Yunuene Esparza, head of China International Art Academy Yuan Youmin, and artist Xiao Hui Wang.

In addition to its fashionable design, Honor has made V Purse environmentally friendly. They have used durable materials like vegan leather for the straps. It's also very slim, measuring only 9mm thick, even thinner than the company's latest foldable Magic V2.

However, the company has not disclosed much detailed information about the hardware of V Purse as it has not been mass-produced. They only mentioned creating a hinge capable of enduring 400,000 folds.
