At times, you may want to append a file to your PDF to send it to friends or share it online. You are likely familiar with the file attachment feature in Foxit Reader, but you might not know how to utilize this feature.
This article will guide you on how to attach a file to a PDF using Foxit Reader.
Step 1: Open the PDF file you wish to attach a file to using Foxit Reader.
In the second step, open the File Attachment dialog by selecting the Home tab and choosing File Attachment in the Insert section.
Alternatively, you can click on the Manage files attached to document icon (paperclip) on the left and select the Add attachment icon as shown below.
For the third step, a File Attachment dialog will appear, click Add Files. You have two options: Add Files for individual files or Add Folder for attaching entire folders.
The Open dialog will appear, choose the File or Folder to attach to the PDF and click Open to add them. You can attach multiple files and folders. Once done, press OK to attach them to the PDF.
All attached files will be displayed in the Attachments section. Simply double-click on a file to open and view it. Remember to press Ctrl + S to save your changes.
