As anticipated, Aurelion Sol encountered no shortage of significant bugs following his makeover.
In recent years, newly introduced or revamped champions in League of Legends, often have an affinity for game-breaking bugs. Viego serves as a prominent example; upon his debut, he spawned a plethora of severe bugs. To the extent that Mordekaiser's title of the 'Game-Breaker King' was transferred to Viego due to the irrational interactions he incited.

Hence, when Aurelion Sol was revamped in patch 13.3, the character promptly faced substantial bugs. The foremost being his W - Celestial Expansion ability becoming locked if players inadvertently selected a destination outside the map.

Subsequently, a glitch enabled Aurelion Sol to inflict continuous damage on enemy champions, even after being vanquished. This anomaly occurs when Aurelion Sol employs an ability to strike an enemy champion just before being defeated. According to bug aficionado Vandiril, this issue is linked to Aurelion Sol's new innate ability.

Specifically, when utilizing the ability to strike an opponent, Aurelion Sol places a hex on the opponent to accrue star fragments. These accumulations are utilized to enhance the skill set of the Cosmic Dragon. However, this innate ability is currently glitched, causing the hex cast by Aurelion Sol to perpetually inflict damage when the champion is defeated.

Despite being newly released for only a few days, Aurelion Sol has already encountered numerous significant issues as mentioned above. It would not be surprising if in the coming days, further issues regarding interactions, damage... of this champion continue to be discovered. Perhaps Riot Games should conduct an early assessment of Aurelion Sol to minimize the potential issues this character may generate.
