From September 15th to October 7th, SIM cards with 11 digits will be changed to 10 digits. Manually converting your contacts can be time-consuming. This guide will show you how to update your 11-digit contacts to 10 digits automatically using the 'contact conversion' app.

Step 1: Download the 'contact conversion' app for Android or iOS.
Step 2: Open the app.

Step 3: Select the magnifying glass button to start scanning your entire contacts list.

Step 4: Agree to allow the app access to your contacts.

Step 5: After scanning, the list of 11-digit contacts to be converted to 10 digits will appear.

Step 6: You can tap on the three horizontal lines above to filter contacts by network, or deselect all and choose manually.

Step 7: After selecting the numbers you want to convert, double-check and tap 'switch to 10 digits' below. (Note: only select numbers that have reached the conversion time, refer to the table above for the conversion time of each number)

Step 8: Select 'OK' to confirm.

Step 9: Completion notification appears. You can review your contacts after conversion.

Note: During the initial conversion period, there may be instances where calls cannot be made due to incomplete network number migration. You can choose to 'go back' to the main screen and then press 'restore' to revert to the old number. Once the network completes the number migration, you can proceed to change the number as usual.
