In order to establish a robust and comprehensive system foundation, enhancing digital experiences across online platforms, Bamboo Airways has announced the upgrade of its PSS system to the Amadeus Altéa PSS.
Bamboo Airways announces system transition to Amadeus Altéa PSS
I. TRANSITION TIME TO AMADEUS SYSTEM:
From 15:00 on September 26, 2023: Bamboo Airways closes sales and suspends the entire system.
Estimated downtime is approximately 14-16 hours.
After this period, the system will resume operations.
1. Transition phase:
Changes to reservation holding:
- From 15:00 on September 25, 2023: Maximum holding time is 01 hour.
- From 12:00 on September 26, 2023: Maximum holding time is 15 minutes.
Passengers should make reservations and ticket issuance payments before the transition period.
If passengers make reservations but haven't issued tickets: Ticket issuance after the transition period will be based on the prices displayed on the new system.
Temporary suspension of online check-in:
During the system upgrade, Bamboo Airways will temporarily suspend online procedures (online check-in):
- Temporary suspension period: Flights departing from now until the end of September 28, 2023 (estimated).
- Online check-in channels will resume operation after the system transition (estimated on September 28, 2023).
- From September 28, passengers can resume online check-in procedures.
During this time, please proceed to Bamboo Airways counters at the airport for check-in.
2. For bookings made before September 26: After the system transition, the previous conditions still apply.
3. For bookings made after the new system transition:
After switching to the new system, Bamboo Airways' ticket conditions change as follows:
- Economy Saver ticket class: Refundable with fees applicable for domestic flights.
- Name change conditions: After the system transition, Bamboo Airways temporarily suspends its name change policy.
