Starting November 1, 2022, Bamboo Airways has launched online check-in procedures on its website and mobile app for all flights departing from Phu Quoc Airport (PQC).
Bamboo Airways introduces online check-in services from Phu Quoc airport.
Currently, Bamboo Airways has implemented online check-in for 06 airports including Noi Bai (HAN), Tan Son Nhat (SGN), Da Nang (DAD), Nha Trang (CXR), Con Dao (VCS), Phu Quoc (PQC).
1. Detailed instructions for online check-in on the website
Step 1: Firstly, you need to access the page https://www.bambooairways.com/en/lam-thu-tuc-truc-tuyen, then click on “Online Check-in” to complete the online check-in procedure on the website.
Step 2: Enter booking information for check-in:
When purchasing airline tickets, the agent will send you the necessary information, here you need to pay attention to: booking code, first name, middle name, and last name. These details need to be entered accurately and according to the instructions. After entering, click “Proceed to check-in”.
Step 3: Select “Passenger - Itinerary” for online check-in:
You can select passengers above and itinerary below to proceed with online check-in. Click “Continue” to check-in for selected passengers and flights.
After that, the system will display Bamboo Airways' regulations on baggage standards as well as notes on dangerous goods. You need to check, select “Agree” for both and then press continue to move to the next step.
Step 4: Select seating according to the airline's aircraft diagram:
In Bamboo Airways' online check-in steps, this is an optional step. Passengers can choose their seats according to their preferences or skip and proceed with the remaining check-in steps. In case passengers do not select seats, the system will automatically assign seats.
Selected seats will be displayed in green, while orange-colored seats indicate seats that have been previously selected. If passengers have specific seating preferences such as window seats or other requests, they can read the section on the left for more information. Otherwise, simply press “Continue” to proceed to the next step.
Step 5: Complete online check-in and receive the boarding pass:
After completing online check-in, a confirmation message will appear. At this point, you have two options: either “Send via email” to save it on your phone or select “Print boarding pass” to download the PDF file to your computer.
2. Detailed instructions for online check-in on the mobile app
Step 2: Next, enter the booking code and the representative's name for online check-in.
Step 3: Under the “Booking Data” section, select “Passenger Name and Flight”, then click “Continue”.
Step 4: At this point, the system will display ICI regulations regarding passengers and baggage. Check the “Agree” box, then click “Continue”.
Step 5: On the “Utilities” page, click “Continue” if you do not wish to use additional booking services.
Step 6: After completing the procedure, the system will display a notification indicating successful check-in. You can choose to print the boarding pass or have it sent to the email you used for booking.
Step 7: Finally, the app interface will show a notification that the boarding pass has been sent. You need to access your email to check and save it on your device.
Some notes for passengers who have completed online check-in
- Passengers must present the online boarding pass and other documents as required when traveling by air to complete the flight procedures.
- Boarding gates may change depending on actual operational conditions. Therefore, passengers are kindly requested to check the information at the airport.
- For domestic flights departing from Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Nha Trang, passengers without checked baggage can proceed directly to the security screening area. Passengers are kindly requested to be present at the departure gate no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the flight. If passengers fail to be present at the departure gate at the specified time, Bamboo Airways reserves the right to cancel the online check-in for those passengers.
- In the event that passengers who have completed online check-in are carrying checked baggage, please be present at the online check-in counter no later than 15 minutes before the counter closure time. If passengers fail to be present at the online check-in counter at the specified time, Bamboo Airways may refuse to transport the checked baggage of those passengers.
