Must-visit places in Bao Loc
Tam Chau Tea Hill
Known as the tea city, Bao Loc boasts the largest tea cultivation area in Lam Dong and across the Central Highlands and Southern regions. The predominant tea variety here is Oolong tea, characterized by its short stems. The renowned B’lao tea brand (the former name of Bao Loc) has long been cherished by tea enthusiasts for its mild bitterness, rich flavor, and delightful aroma.

While lacking the historical legacy of the Cau Dat Tea Hill in Da Lat, the Tâm Châu Tea Hill still captivates visitors. If possible, wake up early and arrive before the mist dissipates. Wander along the dirt paths around the lake, marvel at the dewdrops lingering on the leaves, and savor a hot cup of fragrant tea in your hands.
Dam B’ri Waterfall
Located 18km from the city center of Bao Loc, Dam B’ri stands tall at nearly 57m with a width of 30m, making it the highest and most majestic waterfall in Lam Dong. The water cascades down, creating a veil of white foam and a mystical mist. On sunny days, visitors can often witness a beautiful rainbow beneath their feet.

At the base of the waterfall, a small bridge spans the two banks, covered in year-round green moss, adding a touch of romantic antiquity that leaves visitors in awe. Additionally, visiting Dam B’ri in late October and early November provides a chance to admire vibrant pink flower bands in full bloom.
Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda
Approximately 21km south of Bao Loc city, Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda sits atop Hill 45, Hamlet 4, Loc Thanh, Bao Lam, Lam Dong. Revered as a celestial paradise with its 'gateways to the sky,' it offers panoramic views of vast expanses, allowing you to immerse yourself in the land, mountains, and skies.

To reach Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda from Bao Loc city, follow Tran Phu Street, turning right at the Dai Binh intersection. On the Loc Thanh commune road (National Highway 55), pass through Loc Thanh market and cross the Da Trang Bridge. Continue straight after the bridge, turning right at the intersection to encounter Niết Bàn Pagoda. Proceed straight, then turn left at the cultural hamlet (Hamlet 4 – Loc Thanh Commune). After the cultural hamlet, travel approximately 2km (look for a small alley on the left) and turn left, following the upward slope. Then, turn left at the directional sign (Quan Chieu Duong - Sunset View Restaurant) to reach Linh Quy Phap An.
Di Da Pagoda – Tam Hop Waterfall
Tam Hop Waterfall lies behind Di Da Pagoda, also known as Dang Dung Pagoda, situated in Dang Dung hamlet, Da Ton commune (Bao Loc). Di Da Pagoda is 35km from Bao Loc city, following the Dam B’ri waterfall direction, turning right at Dia Tang Vuong Garden. The pagoda is about 5km along a red dirt road. Di Da Pagoda showcases a unique architectural ensemble, harmonizing Buddhist, Cham, and Vietnamese architectural styles. Within the pagoda's precinct are traditional wooden stilt houses of ethnic people, adorned with intricately carved motifs. Inside, solemn Buddha statues abound.

The waterfall, named Tam Hop due to its three large water streams falling from a height of 70m, is particularly enchanting during the rainy season and early misty mornings.
Nam Phuong Lake
Located less than 2km from the city center of Bao Loc, Nam Phuong Lake is a familiar destination for locals seeking picnics, recreation, or romantic scenery. With an area of nearly 100 hectares, Nam Phuong Lake is divided into two parts, Nam Phuong I and Nam Phuong II, separated by a dam approximately 150m long.

Spacious and refreshing, the highlight here is the lush greenery surrounding Nam Phuong Lake. From afar, you can even see misty mountain peaks, creating a simple and rustic yet remarkably slow-paced atmosphere.
Bat Nha Monastery
When mentioning Bao Loc, one cannot forget Bat Nha Monastery. The name alone evokes a serene ambiance. As a spiritual tourism site, Bat Nha exudes a tranquil and contemplative atmosphere, with buildings nestled amidst cool pine forests. Visitors can explore, participate in Buddhist rituals, and stay overnight in clean guesthouses. The water used in the monastery is sourced from nearby forest streams, abundant and cool throughout the year.

Treehouse Accommodation at Dam B’ri Waterfall Tourist Area
Hidden behind tea hills, strawberry fields, and lush coffee plantations, Dam B’ri Waterfall Tourist Area is a natural wonder. With waterfalls over 60m high, day and night witness massive water cascading from above, creating a mystical and majestic scene. Visitors here can immerse themselves in nature with various enticing outdoor activities, including the unique experience of staying in treehouse accommodations.

The treehouse model, elevated 3m above the ground, leaning against the ancient tree trunk, promises a fascinating experience when you visit. Treehouse rate: 800,000 VND/night for 2 people, including breakfast, coffee, and soft drinks. Phone: 0633.751.517 – 0633. 911.990
