Prepare Your Equipment

• Remote Controller

Fit the two detachable control sticks into their designated spots on the guide sheet. Press the power button to activate the remote controller and check the battery. Then, press and hold the power button to display four LED lights and emit a beep. Prepare the appropriate cable for connection, place your phone on the holder, and plug the cable into both devices.

• Flycam

Remove the protective gimbal cover and attach the aircraft propellers to the motor shaft. If the propeller arms can be folded, extend them before attaching the propellers. For Flycams without pre-attached propellers, pay attention during attachment:

• Each set of propellers will have a corresponding symbol on the motor shaft. Simply assemble them according to these symbols. 
• To securely attach the propellers, press down and hold, then rotate the motor shaft to the right and release your hand. Repeat the same process for the remaining propeller.

Next, press the power button once to turn on the Flycam and check the battery level. Hold down the power button to start the Flycam. 

• Phone

Open the DJI FLY app on your phone, select Connect Aircraft, and choose your Flycam model.

Perform the connection (PAIR) between the devices if this is your first time using them together. Then, select “Unable to connect aircraft” and press “PAIR”. Also, hold down the power button on the Flycam until you hear a beep indicating successful connection.

• Preparing Flycam Before Flight

2. Return To Home (RTH) button: Return to the takeoff point.
