Step 1: Download and install Battery Doubler on your computer. If you don't have it yet, you can download the latest version of Battery Doubler here.
Step 2 After installation, a software icon will appear in the Taskbar as a bone. Right-click and drag it to Battery Doubler --> Select Show Mail Menu to display the program.

Step 3 In the Main Tab under the Enable Battery doubler section, select Options. A dialog Options will appear, check the two options Force CPU to use 99% Power and Activate Processor Cycling to control the CPU's operation not to exceed 99% to save battery power for your laptop. Click Ok to proceed.
Step 4 In the Autonomy Tab, there are options for energy saving that you can choose according to your current machine state such as:
- Maximum Autonomy: To increase battery usage up to 200%.
- Balance: To balance between 2 modes with a 170% increase.
Step 5 In the Options Tab, there are other options such as
Lower hard disk spin, reduce screen brightness, minimize CD/DVD usage, decrease processor speed. You can select the corresponding options to make the battery-saving program more effective.
Step 6 In the Wizard Tab to check the settings for optimal parameters.
Here, you select Compare Autonomy and wait a moment to receive the result to see how much the usage time can increase compared to the initial state.
