A prime example of this type of hero is Bijan. The newcomer, transferred from Valorant, possesses agile skills from his ultimate, accompanied by a series of annoying crowd control effects, making him a super-safe choice to prevent Monkey King from scaling into the late game. Is this truly a match with a significant skill gap? Let's explore it with Mytour in the article below.

The Annoyance Factor
Bijan: The new hero Bijan is irritating because almost every skill has at least one crowd control effect. Specifically, a knock-up in skill 1, a slow in skill 2, and most notably, skill 3 - Desert Mythical Beast. When activated, this Liên Quân hero summons a mythical beast, and Bijan rides it to a designated point for 12 seconds, immune to crowd control during this period. Moreover, hitting enemies will knock them up and reduce their armor by 15% for 4 seconds.
Wukong: Monkey King's most annoying aspect is his continuous stealth, allowing players to close in on low-health targets, combo for burst damage, and make a quick escape. However, in the early game, Wukong won't be able to instantly eliminate opponents. Plus, without critical hits, escaping becomes tricky. Utilize the stealth advantage to play mind games with enemies, approach from behind, unleash your combo, and then vanish.
Facing Bijan's hero, all it takes is one hit from him, and immediately there's a series of crowd control effects followed by a ton of damage. At this point, Wukong will find it challenging to escape. So, in terms of annoyance, Bijan surpasses Wukong. Bijan 8/10, Wukong 7/10.
Agility Level
Bijan: This guy has only one skill that brings agility, which is his ultimate. Although this skill doesn't help Bijan traverse terrains, it allows him to quickly disengage from combat or approach it within seconds when activated. Even if the enemy is retreating to their tower, Bijan can catch up by summoning his mythical beast.
Wukong: Speaking of agility, Wukong is rated quite decent. Although not as flexible as Nakroth or Aoi, he is agile in a burst manner. Even in the early stages of the match, his second skill, Nimbus Strike, helps this Liên Quân hero dash a short distance, quietly approach enemies, and deliver a surprise combo. This skill also provides a powerful speed boost for Wukong to run down opponents.
Thanks to his unique ultimate ability, Bijan completely dominates Wukong in the early game. He can farm first and then move for a gank, regardless of what Wukong wants to do. If Bijan wants to play aggressively and force Wukong to his death, he can stay, freeze the minions, and call teammates for a gank. Wukong will only suffer. Additionally, if Wukong accidentally reveals himself while on the lane, Bijan can use his ultimate to pursue and finish him off.
So, when Monkey King faces Bijan in the lane, focus on farming and 'licking up' all the resources left behind by Bijan, like the jungle monsters on the lane, for example. If pressured too much, consider leaving the turret and head to the jungle or mid lane to leech experience. Bijan 8/10, Wukong 7/10.
Healing Capability
Bijan: This Liên Quân hero isn't highly rated for healing capabilities. He only has the innate Desert Vitality, providing a bit of self-healing when landing enhanced attacks.
Wukong: Monkey King's healing stat is a solid 0. He doesn't possess any skills that provide a mechanism for self-healing. To compensate, players often equip him with life-steal equipment and vampiric runes.
Healing capability is not the strong suit for these two Liên Quân heroes. Therefore, when in the lane, they need to be cautious not to be heavily harassed. Returning to base for healing creates opportunities for the opponent to comfortably clear minions and roam for ganks. Objectively speaking, Bijan still edges out Wukong slightly in healing ability, although the healing stats are not high. Bijan 7/10, Wukong 6.5/10.
Resilience
Bijan: At this point, this hero offers various interesting item build paths, from semi, full attack, to full defense. Depending on the chosen build and equipped runes, we can assess how resilient this Liên Quân hero becomes. Bijan also possesses skills that increase armor and reduce enemy armor, which is advantageous.
Wukong: As a pure Assassin, Wukong is quite fragile, and few players opt for a semi-build for him. If you move carelessly, you'll easily fall victim to his combo and be left lying down. This Liên Quân hero lacks any skills that enhance resilience. Therefore, Wukong players need to utilize his stealth advantage to initiate combos before enemies can counter-attack.
Clearly, in terms of resilience, Bijan surpasses Wukong. If Bijan builds armor and activates the innate 10-layer bonus, Wukong will have a tough time. If Bijan has the funds and gets the Thương Khung Kiếm early along with Giáp Thống Khổ, Wukong's attacks will be exhausting. Wukong should think twice before attacking a full-health Bijan without a gold advantage. Bijan 7/10, Wukong 6/10.
Burst Damage Capability
Bijan: This new Liên Quân hero doesn't fall into the category of quick burst damage but leans towards dealing sustained damage over time. Bijan's most significant damage comes from enhanced attacks in the innate Desert Vitality. If the ultimate's crowd control is utilized well, Bijan can completely turn the tide with a CC combo. Not to mention, if built with full attack items, Bijan's damage is formidable.
Wukong: When talking about rapid burst and high damage potential in Liên Quân, Ngộ Không is a must-mention. In the early stages, without items and a bit of bad luck for Wukong players, critical hits might not land. However, in the late game, Wukong can quickly eliminate enemies, one stick, one kill. If he gets ahead early, Wukong's skill set can even make tanks nervous.
Dealing with early-game struggles as Wukong on the lane is inevitable. However, the crucial narrative in this matchup is how Monkey King evades and farms strategically to scale into the late game. 'Defenders retaliate after 15 minutes is not too late,' so in this matchup, Wukong needs to focus, diligently progress in strength, and especially target vulnerable prey like Mages, Marksmen, and even Assassins. Accept falling behind in the early game, wait until you have items, and then turn the tables against Bijan. Bijan 7.5/10, Wukong 9/10.
