- In 2015, I spoke about the fear of a global pandemic causing millions of deaths. My organization contributed billions of dollars to vaccine research, and I'm proud that these studies have helped halve the number of children under 5 dying over the past 20 years. Why would I need to know where everyone is? What would I do with that information?
