Bin still hasn't demonstrated his ability to 'stand on his own' after leaving WBG and joining RNG.
During the last transfer season of 2021, one of the most controversial deals in LPL was when Weibo Gaming, after acquiring Suning, brought TheShy in to replace Bin in the top lane. Not accepting the bench role for 'Top God,' Bin decided to join Royal Never Give Up. Particularly, the team with the motto 'only using domestic players' has always been Bin's favorite team, and he has been quite close to Xiaohu - the player who moved to mid lane to replace Cryin and gave up top lane to Bin.

However, despite being a talented player, what Bin has shown so far has not met expectations. With Bin and Xiaohu returning to mid lane, RNG fans hoped they could easily crush all opponents at the Demacia Cup 2021, paving the way for a successful Spring Split.
Yet, RNG failed to meet fan expectations. They could only advance to the Quarterfinals before being swept 3-0 by Top Esports. Especially in game 2, Bin showed his 'intense' farming ability and... that's it. All he did in that game was register a perfect 0 in the KDA stats, despite having much more gold than Wayward of TES - the substitute player for Qingtian.

Witnessing Bin's performance, a portion of LPL fans in general and RNG fans in particular couldn't help but feel frustrated. Admittedly, this is just a warm-up tournament, with many teams not even bringing their main roster to compete. TES themselves substituted 2 positions, top and jungle, with 2 substitute players, but Bin's performance was hard to accept.

However, it's possible that the RNG players themselves see the tournament as mere warm-up sessions before the new season. Perhaps when officially stepping into Spring 2022, Bin and RNG will showcase a different side. Nonetheless, the RNG players must quickly boost their morale, and with roster changes, only victories can meet the extremely high expectations of RNG fans specifically and the LPL in general.
