Step 1: Launch the Smart AppLock app and enter the default password: 7777
Step 2: Tap the '+' icon at the bottom of the screen to start adding the app you want to lock to the list. Select the desired app by checking the box and then tapping the Enter button.
Step 3: In the selected app list, tap the Fake button next to the app to generate a fake error message. Whenever someone taps on this app, they will see an error message saying 'Unfortunately, the app has stopped.' If it's a stranger, they might think the app is malfunctioning and tap OK to return to the home screen. But if it's you, hold your finger on the OK button and enter the password to continue using the app as usual.
Step 4: To change the default password, go to the Settings > Security and Lock Screen > Password section.
Step 5: Enter a new password and tap OK.
