Zalo is a social network widely used today, allowing easy messaging and video calls with friends and groups. However, some friends you don't want to chat with keep sending messages, especially strangers bombarding you with annoying advertisements. 1. Blocking Zalo Messages from Friends
If you find some of your Zalo friends are not a good fit for conversation, try blocking Zalo messages and calls from them using the following guide.
Step 1: In the Zalo app on your phone, go to the chat with the person you want to block messages from.
Step 2: In the upper right corner of the chat, click on 3 horizontal lines (Image 1). Then, drag the screen up and click 'Block messages' (Image 2).
Step 3: Click 'Block' (Image 3). If it looks like Image 4, you have successfully blocked your friends.
Step 4: If you want to block someone from viewing my diary, click 'Personal Settings' (Image 5). Then, in the 'Block this person from viewing my diary' section, slide the bar from left to right (Image 6).
Step 5: Go to Zalo Messages, and you will see the person you blocked has a red circle icon, meaning messages are blocked (Image 7). If you want to unblock messages, follow step 2 and click 'Unblock messages' (Image 8).

2. Blocking Zalo Messages from Strangers
If you don't want to receive messages from strangers, block them using the following method:
Step 1: On your phone screen, open the Zalo app.
Step 2: At the bottom right corner, click on the person icon (Image 1). At the top right corner, click on the settings icon (Image 2).
Step 3: Click on 'Privacy' (Image 3). In the 'Receive messages from strangers' section, slide the bar from right to left (Image 4) to change from green to white.
Step 4: If you want to block calls from strangers, swipe the screen up. In the 'Receive calls from strangers' section, slide the bar from green to gray (Image 5).
