To enhance GPS speed and accuracy, let's follow these steps to wander freely.
Make sure your Android device is rooted. Refer to the guide on rooting Android with Superoneclick here.
Step 1: Turn off GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, and location services
Download the gps.conf file and use Root Explorer to copy it to /etc/gps.conf.
Remember to set the permission of the gps.conf file you just copied to rw-r--r--. Check the image below:
Step 2. Enable GPS, Wi-Fi, or 3G to download GPS data => Reboot your device
Step 3. Download GPS Status and Toolbox from the market
Then open the application and go to:
Open app> tools> manage A-GPS state>Reset
Open app> tools> manage A-GPS state>Download
Exit GPS Status and Toolbox and re-enter
Wait for it to find enough satellites ~ 8 -> 11 satellites (the first time it may take quite a while, about 5-10 minutes to find enough satellites)
Now your GPS will lock very quickly and accurately
