Understanding DNS: The Key to Internet Connectivity
Follow These Steps to Change DNS on Windows 10
Step 1: Right-click the network icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and select Open Network and Sharing Center
Step 2: In the Network and Sharing Center, click on Change Adapter Settings
Step 3: Right-click on your computer's network icon and select Properties (the icon may vary for WiFi or Ethernet connections).
Step 4: In the Ethernet Properties window, select Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) and double-click on it.
Step 5: Here, check the box next to Use the following DNS server address and enter the new DNS settings. For example, as shown below, Mytour will use Google's DNS. Enter the following numbers sequentially:
- Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
- Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4
Once you've filled in the details, click OK to save the settings.
