If you've ever played Borderlands before, you know how many psycho marauders roam the wastelands of Pandora, eagerly fighting to the death. But the seemingly similar and unified cause of their psychotic disorders has remained a mystery... until now. Scientist Patricia Tannis has a hypothesis that the galactic psychos went mad upon learning about a mythical location she calls Vaulthalla, and she wants you to test her theory.

The most sensible approach to verify the existence of Vaulthalla is to consult the opinions of fellow Crimson Raider, the formidable psycho, and the sinister Krieg, whom you first encountered in Borderlands 2. However, clear communication is not Krieg's strong suit, as he incessantly shouts meaningless phrases. Fear not: Tannis has devised a way to plunge you directly into Krieg's consciousness, hoping to discover Vaulthalla and its rumored Legendary rewards, including new weapons, gear, skins, and heads for Vault Hunter...
Instead of setting foot on a real planet, this DLC campaign unfolds entirely within Krieg's mind, a place filled with twisted thoughts and disjointed memories that defy the laws of the real world or conventional politeness standards. With all the enemies he's slain and the brutal actions he's witnessed over the years, Krieg's imagination is teeming with deadly perils. If you want to survive long enough to uncover Vaulthalla and obtain a slew of new weapons, as well as Legendary items, you'll have to navigate both sides of Krieg's dual psyche: the fervent killing machine everyone sees and the calm voice within directing Krieg's rage towards deserving targets.
Whether you own Psycho Krieg and Fantastic Fustercluck or any other additional perks from the Borderlands 3 campaign, you can leverage the raised level cap of 65 accompanying this content. With 5 additional skill points provided by this new maximum level, you even have more room to experiment with building a powerful Vault Hunter capable of crushing anything in your path.
Psycho Krieg and Fantastic Fustercluck complete the four DLC campaign packs included in the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition and Borderlands 3 Season Pass. If you haven't played them yet, explore Heist of The Handsome Jackpot, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, and Bounty of Blood after you've wreaked havoc within the chaotic realm of Krieg.
