In recent years, to escape the harsh summer heat, an increasing number of affluent travelers from the Gulf have been seeking the lush green landscapes of Bosnia for high-end resort vacations.
As a result, there is a strong wave of investment pouring into Bosnia. Last October, a major real estate conglomerate announced an investment of over 900 million Euros to develop a tourist city spanning nearly 140 hectares in Bosnia. Property prices in some areas have doubled in just three years.
Bosnia's strength lies in its tourism environment that caters to the standards of Muslim travelers. Tourists can dine at most restaurants without worrying about menus containing foods that violate their religious regulations. Experts predict that Bosnia will become an ideal destination in 2016 for travel enthusiasts.
