Brave supports anonymous web browsing
Integration of anonymous web browsing enhances security and privacy on Brave
The Brave development team states that the new Private Tabs with Tor feature is beneficial for users seeking additional security solutions, beyond local security measures.
Private browsing sessions are designed to erase all web browsing data after the session is closed. However, the issue is that these private browsing sessions can still record user traffic.
By integrating the Tor anonymous web browsing mode into the Brave browser, users can conceal their IP addresses by routing browser traffic through the Tor network. Internet service providers and websites cannot determine the origin of user traffic, similar to how they cannot trace the origin of Tor traffic.
The development team also emphasizes that the Private Tabs with Tor feature is currently in beta, so there are still some issues and leaks that will be addressed in future updates. Users concerned about security and privacy may consider using the Tor browser, which offers higher security capabilities, thwarting websites or attackers who may use advanced techniques to uncover real IP addresses.
The Brave browser is still not truly stable
Although still in development and not yet entirely stable, Brave continues to be highly regarded as the browser with the best security connection. This is because the browser's default configuration blocks all types of ads, tracking scripts, and cryptocurrency mining scripts, coupled with the integration of the Tor anonymous web browsing session in its recent release.
Brave's private browsing tabs do not retain users' browsing history or cookies. Additionally, the browser utilizes the privacy-focused search engine DuckDuckGo, and most importantly, it does not track or sell user data.
