As anticipated in prior reports, Samsung has officially confirmed today that they will host the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 27, 2023.
This marks the inaugural Galaxy Unpacked event to be held in South Korea, where the company will unveil the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 along with several other products. Previously, Samsung typically unveiled its new flagships in Barcelona, Spain, or San Francisco/New York, USA.

It's regarded as a convergence point between Teheran-ro, a center for creative startups, and Bongeunsa, a Buddhist temple. According to TM Roh, President and CEO of Samsung MX (Mobile eXperience), Samseong-dong offers an alluring blend of past, present, and future that has shaped Seoul's capital of South Korea.

This year, the launch event for Samsung's Galaxy Z 2023 series will take place in Seoul, with the possibility of next year's event occurring in a different city.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 are expected to feature a droplet hinge, which helps minimize screen creases and eliminates gaps when folded. Both phones are also rumored to have an IP58 rating for dust and water resistance. This duo is also said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor, and the Galaxy Z Flip5 will feature a larger secondary display on the back.
