Editing Photos with Photoshop CC 2020

Step 1: Open the image you want to edit in Photoshop CC 2020. Next, press the Ctrl + J keyboard shortcut to duplicate the current layer.
Step 2: The newly created layer is usually named Layer 1 by default. Left-click on this layer, then click on the Blend tool and select Screen .
Step 3: The image has become brighter; however, if you're not satisfied, continue adjusting the exposure by pressing the Ctrl + J key multiple times to apply additional blending layers, increasing the brightness until you're pleased.
Step 4: Overall, the picture has been brightened, but some areas may be overly bright. Now, click on the Mask tool in the Layer panel on the right side of the screen.
Step 5: Continue pressing the shortcut key B to activate the Brush tool and choose to use the color black .
Step 6: To further adjust the exposure, fill in color in areas where you feel there is excess brightness.
Step 7: If adjusting the exposure in Photoshop CC 2020 is not satisfactory, select the layers below and repeat the coloring step until it meets your expectations.
