Both SKY and GAM find joy on the first day of the second week of competition.
In the opening day of the second week of VCS Winter 2021, Burst The Sky Esports faces a formidable opponent in SBTC Esports. Many fans even believed SKY would suffer another loss as SE is in excellent form. Not to mention, they also welcome back their mid-laner Artifact officially and are riding high after defeating Saigon Buffalo last week.
However, in the clash against SKY, SE displayed a weaker side as they were crushed by the 'Buffalo Herd'. In game 1, SE could only secure 2 takedowns before their base exploded. SKY claims their most dominant victory since VCS Winter 2021 began.

Moving onto game 2, Penguin and Celebrity regain their form while SE makes a change with Hiro02 replacing Artifact in the mid-lane. SE quickly takes control of the game while Celebrity remains unyielding. The 'Pink Chicken' equalizes, bringing the match back to square one.
SKY's mid-laner Gloryy has an outstanding performance. His Sylas in game 3 is the key to SKY's flawless engagements. Whether it's sweeping near clean in the Jungle or wiping out the mid-lane area just before the 20-minute mark, all are executed perfectly. SE can only defend and ultimately watches their base explode. SKY successfully 'bursts the huts' after a series of draws and losses in the first week of competition.

The clash between the two VCS champions, Team Flash and GAM Esports, once again turned into a battle of equals in VCS. In game 1, TF showed no signs of weakness against GAM, maintaining a balanced game for the majority of the match. However, Levi's outstanding performance rendered TF's efforts futile. GAM took the victory 1-0 in the end.

Moving on to game 2, TF even had a strong start. With the bot lane duo Sty1e - Bie constantly under pressure, Dante actively played to help SKY gain an advantage in the early game. However, once again, it was Levi who shined with numerous successful counter-ganks and teamfight initiations. As the mid-game approached, GAM gradually regained control, and with Kati, Sty1e, and Levi all ahead, securing game 2 at VCS Winter 2021 wasn't too difficult for GAM.

After a disappointing week, SKY fans can breathe a sigh of relief, especially witnessing how they outperformed SE in every aspect. SKY's journey is still long, and they could definitely spring some surprises in the upcoming matches.
As for GAM, this marks their second victory, but once again, they've exposed many weaknesses, especially in the performance of key players like Kiaya and Sty1e. Without Levi's outstanding performance and the support of players like Kati and Bie, GAM could have faced more difficulties, even a loss against TF.
Meanwhile, TF continues their losing streak, now reaching 4 games, which is truly alarming. Despite the changes and the relatively inexperienced Stark as coach, their inability to capitalize on opportunities is concerning. While being at the bottom of VCS Winter doesn't lead to relegation, if TF doesn't improve soon, they might struggle in future tournaments, like VCS Spring 2022.
