Bykski Unveils Robust External Liquid Cooling Solution for Computers
Bykski, a company specializing in high-performance liquid cooling solutions for computers, has just introduced the B-1080-CEC-X external liquid cooling system. This system is larger than your average computer case, with a price tag of approximately 525 dollars in Japan.
The design of this system includes 9 120mm fans paired with a square-shaped radiator measuring 360 x 360 mm, 46mm thick, and made of copper + aluminum. Enclosed in an aluminum case measuring 419 x 488 x 138 mm, equivalent to a mid-tower case but slimmer, and weighing nearly 10 kg. Two water tubes are routed from the CPU or GPU cooling block, creating a loop similar to custom cooling systems, with these components placed externally rather than inside the computer case.Bykski suggests that the B-1080-CEC-X is versatile for cooling servers, high-performance gaming PCs, computer systems with up to 4 GPUs, and compact systems lacking sufficient space for mounting a liquid cooling radiator. The cooling capacity of this external liquid cooling system reaches up to 2000 W, making it capable of meeting the cooling needs of processors like the Core i9-13900K or the GeForce RTX 4090, a combo that can draw close to 1000 W. Additionally, the B-1080-CEC-X can handle cooling for HEDT systems or dual-socket setups with multiple GPUs, as depicted. Bykski equips it with a pump capable of delivering up to 700 liters per minute, water pressure reaching 1.5 bar, and using G1/4 (14 mm diameter) tubes. The radiator features up to 30 dual-channel waterways, ensuring fast water circulation and efficient cooling before extracting heat from the hardware.Tom's Hardware
