To reach Cai Chien Island from Hanoi, head to Ghenh Vo Port and catch a ferry. You can take a bus from My Dinh Bus Station or Giap Bat Bus Station to Mong Cai and then get off at the intersection of Ly Thuong Kiet and Quang Ha. Alternatively, follow Google Maps directions for motorbike travel to Ghenh Vo Port.
Ferries to Cai Chien Island operate three times daily from Ghenh Vo Port at 7:00 AM, 11:30 AM, and 5:30 PM, and from Cai Chien at 6:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 4:30 PM. Additional sailings may be available based on demand. Ensure punctuality and plan your trip accordingly. Ferry tickets cost 20,000 VND per person per trip, and for motorcycles, the fare is 50,000 VND per vehicle per trip.
