Cai Chien Island is the only island commune of Hai Ha district, recently emerging as a destination for those who love the tranquility of forests and seas. Cai Chien also conveniently connects the Eastern region's exploration route, from Binh Lieu down to Mong Cai.
The island spans over 2550 hectares, predominantly covered in forests and seas. The natural landscape here remains quite pristine, which is not easily found elsewhere. To reach Cai Chien Island, travelers can take passenger cars, join tours, or ride motorbikes to Quang Ha town center then take the Ghenh Vo ferry to the island.
There are 3 ferry trips per day at fixed hours, each trip taking about 40 minutes. Travelers wanting to stay overnight on the island can choose homestay services, container houses, or rent tents. There are several dozen families in Cai Chien offering homestay services.
If travelers lack transportation, they can rent electric bikes, motorbikes, or bicycles at guesthouses or homestays for convenient island exploration.
Similar to many other islands in Quang Ninh province, the natural landscape on Cai Chien Island consists of beaches, Van Ca, Cai Chien, and Dau Rong. Among them, Cau Rong beach is more popular as it offers tourist services.
The sand here is fine, stretching 2km, with the sea below and tens-year-old bamboo forests above, ideal for camping activities and group entertainment. Travelers can also rent canoes to paddle on the sea or stroll amidst the straight bamboo ranges...
Van Ca beach is renowned for its picturesque scenery with rugged cliffs, pebble beaches with numerous colorful pebbles, and many unique shapes.
