Similar to how one would travel to Phan Thiet or Vung Tau from the North, it's necessary to fly to Tan Son Nhat (or take a train, bus, though it might take quite a while, so I don't recommend it; better to save your energy and time to enjoy more, and ticket prices won't differ much if you manage to book cheap flights). Then, take a coach to Lagi (travel time approximately 3 to 4 and a half hours).
Lagi beach is incredibly serene.
Here are some bus companies you can consider: My Loan, Cat Tien, A Liem...; all of them offer quality sleeper buses, with prices ranging from 110,000 VND to 150,000 VND. They run from morning till night, so no worries about not finding transportation. Just tell the driver to stop at Coco Beach Camp - a well-known entertainment complex along this coastal area.
Sunrise at Lagi is breathtaking.
2. When is the best time to visit Lagi?
Certainly during the summer! You should plan your trip around the months of May, June, July, and August when the weather is beautiful, with plenty of sunshine and gentle breezes.
3. Cam Binh Resort
Booking a room at Coco on weekends can be quite challenging. A great alternative to explore another resort while still being able to enjoy Coco is to book a room at Cam Binh Resort - conveniently located next to Coco!
The beach within Cam Binh Resort.
Cam Binh Resort boasts an incredibly spacious area. Outside, there's a lobby and hotel-style floors, while further inside are interconnected room blocks. Closer to the beach are wooden rooms, quite picturesque and eye-catching. The resort features multiple swimming pools, restaurants, a bar, and even a pond area with a bridge crossing over it and beach hammocks...
The hidden beach holds many exciting experiences waiting for you to explore.
But what truly leaves me in awe is perhaps the resort's beach itself: pristine white sand, crystal-clear blue waters under the warm sun, vast and beautifully designed on the sand, which is a huge plus for Cam Binh. This place offers travelers a secluded yet pleasantly surprising, lovely, and somewhat romantic seaside getaway.
The pristine white sandy beach, clear blue sea, and warm sunshine will delight you.
4. Coco Beach Camp
Coco Beach Camp is the name of a resort complex offering a plethora of activities such as swimming pools, bars, parties, underwater games... basically, it's a perfect place to have a blast with your best buddies or your significant other.

The room designs and beach vibes at Coco vary with each season and every visit, allowing you to check in with different arrangements and styles. Coco has been and continues to bring a fresh breeze, and I believe it will become a burgeoning tourism spot for Lagi town in the future.
The room designs and beach vibes at Coco change with each season.
You'll be mesmerized by the way they play with colors in the room clusters at Coco, vibrant yet aesthetically pleasing. The tent area exudes vibes reminiscent of the Mongolian deserts, both luxurious and vintage. It's a pity that without staying here (bracelets for verification), you're not allowed to take photos; the colorful wooden houses lined up along the beach, illuminated by the sunset, resemble a row of sparkling candies.

5. Cabilagi Garden Resort
Due to some booking issues, we had to switch to another place for our Monday night stay. We chose Cabilagi simply because it's quite close to Cam Binh (just under 1 km by taxi). The rooms here are more subdued in design, and the pool isn't as large, but the impressive wooden room designs make up for it. The only downside is it's quite far from the beach compared to the other two places mentioned above. However, this beach is close to a seafood market, where vendors sell seafood right on the sandy shore, giving it a somewhat messy appearance.
The rooms at Cabilagi are simply designed yet impressive, with wooden flooring throughout.
I would advise against swimming in this area to ensure hygiene standards. Instead, you can walk along the coastline back to Cam Binh Beach for a swim. It might be a bit far and tiring, so local fishermen here offer ox-cart rides to Coco Beach (10,000 VND per person per trip) to cater to beachgoers' needs. Although they're only 400 meters apart, the atmosphere is vastly different.
Heading back to Cam Binh beach, not only is the beach beautiful but there are also plenty of photo spots.
If you visit at the right time, you'll see a truly beautiful Lagi.
If you want to combine visits to other places, it's more logical. My family planned to visit Ke Ga lighthouse (which also has an entertainment complex similar to Coco called LU Glamping) but unfortunately, due to some subjective reasons, we couldn't go. Besides, there are other places like Cau Island, Phu Quy Island, Mui Ne, Mui Yen, Ta Cu Mountain, Ong Dia Rock Beach, Dục Thanh School, Forgotten Land Sand Sculpture Park... don't forget to include them in your itinerary.
Organize your schedule wisely to explore every corner of Lagi.
Hope these Lagi travel experiences will help you plan your trip or maybe serve as inspiration for your upcoming holiday. Don't forget to share your journey with us.
