1. What is Camping? What is Glamping?
1.1. Camping
Camping is undoubtedly a term familiar to almost everyone. It involves setting up camp or pitching tents outdoors, typically for overnight stays at tourist destinations such as parks, beaches, eco-tourism sites, national parks... or places with stunning natural landscapes.

Typically on holidays or weekends, families or groups of friends will choose a camping spot to gather together, engaging in various recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, campfires, and BBQs. Camping is ideal for nature enthusiasts and those passionate about exploration. It's also a way to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find peace and tranquility. A camping trip is often cost-effective, with all necessary equipment readily prepared, allowing for customizable experiences.
1.2. Glamping
The term Glamping originates from the combination of 'camping' and 'glamorous'. Essentially, glamping is a luxurious form of camping.
Imagine this as a resort with all the amenities but in the form of camping. Of course, the tents themselves are upgraded compared to regular camping, with some even having staff to assist you. When experiencing Glamping, you'll receive all the services like those in a hotel stay—complete and luxurious, perhaps even opulent, rivaling any 5-star hotel. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the comfort of the services provided.

However, glamping still maintains the fundamental aspects of camping, such as being close to nature, pristine landscapes, or even being situated within natural reserves.
2. The Difference between Camping and Glamping
The hallmark of camping is self-sufficiency, where you must prepare for the trip alone or with family and friends, without any assistance from strangers. You have to independently prepare tents, cooking utensils, personal belongings, manage your gear, and sometimes sacrifice privacy when camping in crowded areas with many other tents.

On the other hand, with glamping, you get to experience the wilderness while enjoying leisure time because everything is provided by the resort or service. From luxurious tents, treehouses, or beachside cabins, all equipped with amenities, and services including food, drinks, internet, and housekeeping are available. All you need to do is relax and enjoy the comfort.

Furthermore, glamping differs from camping in that guest privacy is always prioritized alongside other services to provide maximum comfort and enjoyment. Glamping tents rarely sit close together like camping; instead, there's always a certain distance to allow you to enjoy private moments amidst pristine nature.

3. Beautiful Glamping Spots
As mentioned earlier, camping is quite familiar to Vietnamese people. This activity is most vibrant among groups of adventurous young friends and young families. Even schools organize camping trips for students during extracurricular activities, and many companies choose camping for team-building events. You can easily find camping spots in every locality, in forests, by the sea, or even in city parks. However, in Vietnam, glamping sites catering to young people are limited in number and offer only average service quality because 5-star glamping sites have yet to be developed. Below are some beautiful glamping sites you can experience this summer.
