Learn how to apply facial filters when recording videos on Viber in just a few simple steps.
Ensure you have the latest version of Viber installed on your device. Download Viber for Android: Viber for Android. Download Viber for iOS: Viber for iPhone.
Follow these steps to apply facial filters:
Step 1: Open Viber on your phone, log in, and look to the top right corner. Click on the camera icon (Image 1). Viber Lenses will appear; click 'Download Now' (Image 2).
Step 2: Click 'Try Now' (Image 3). The system will send a notification 'The camera will restart once the download process is complete' (Image 4).
Step 3: Wait a few seconds; the app will notify you that the camera is ready. Click on the Snapchat icon (Image 5). To record a facial filter video, select 'Video' (Image 6).
Step 4: In the filter section, slide left to choose the suitable filter. If you like it, double-click on the facial filter (Image 7). The Viber app will then record a video with your chosen filter. To stop recording, click the red button (Image 8). Note: Clicking once on a filter allows you to preview it before selecting. To choose, double-click on the filter.
Step 5: The recorded video will appear (Image 9). You can edit it with options in the top right corner: - Add a description: Click below the interface as shown in Image 9 to write a description for the video. - Aa: Allows you to write text on the video (Image 10). - Bear face icon: Eye-catching and fun stickers (Image 11); you can choose these to make your video more impressive. - Drawing icon: Lets you draw anything you want.
Step 6: Once you've finished editing, you can:
- To download: Click on the download icon in the bottom left corner (Figure 12).
- To send: Click on the send icon in the bottom right corner (Figure 13).
