Step 1: Press the Command + Shift + 4 keys, the mouse cursor will change to a crosshair.

Step 2: Once completed, the result will be saved directly to the Desktop.

Step 1: Press the Command + Shift + 4 + Spacebar keys, now the mouse cursor changes to a camera icon, you move the mouse to the active tab such as Safari,... and release the mouse to capture the screen by region.
Step 2: The image will automatically be saved to the Desktop screen as shown below.
