1. Capture In-Game Screenshots
The process of taking screenshots while gaming on Steam is straightforward. First, users open Steam and launch their favorite game. During gameplay, simply press the F12 key. Immediately, a screenshot capture notification will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen as illustrated below.
Users can comfortably capture images, as the Steam system will automatically save these images to the system memory for later selection and editing.
2. Setting Up the Screenshot Capture Feature
Users can customize and set up the screenshot capture feature while gaming on Steam as follows. Click on the Steam option at the top left of the screen. Choose Settings.

By default, Steam saves screenshot images at the address: C:UsersUsernameDocuments. However, if you can't find them for some reason when accessing this folder, follow the instructions below.
Click on the Screenshot Folder button, a new window will appear, displaying the current folder location that Steam is using to save images.

You also click on the Screenshot Folder button. Choose the folder that contains the new images from the folder tree, then click Select to save.
