Sony has incorporated a screen recording feature into Sony Z3 and Z3 Compact, allowing us to effortlessly capture screen activities without the need for extra app downloads.

Screen recording is genuinely essential when guiding someone through phone operations with a video, making the instructions much more understandable. To use this feature on the Sony Z3 and Z3 Compact, follow these steps:

Step 1: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

Step 2: Tap the Record Screen button.

Step 3: A pop-up window appears where you can choose the video resolution (Full HD, HD, VGA) and recording orientation (portrait/landscape).

Step 4: You can also use the front camera to record your facial expressions and voice.

Step 5: After completing the recording, the video is saved in the internal memory under Movies > Screen Recordings.

Note: The pop-up window does not appear in the final video.
