Method 1: Using the physical button
Step 1: Navigate to the screen you want to capture.
Step 2: Press the combination of Volume Down + Power buttons for 1 to 2 seconds until you hear the familiar screenshot sound or see the animation on the screen, then release your hand.
The screenshot will automatically save to your phone's gallery, and you can share the screenshot with friends via social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Zalo, etc.
Method 2: Using Smart Screenshot Feature
This method comes in handy when you're using the phone while it's placed on a table or a flat surface. Since you can't use the fingerprint sensor or physical buttons right now to take a screenshot.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on Huawei P10 and select Smart Assistance
Step 2: Next, select Motion control from the menu.
Step 3: Choose the smart screenshot option from the Motion control settings.
Step 4: Now, use the knuckles of two fingers to tap on your screen, and the screenshot will be captured. You can also use a single knuckle and draw on your screen if you want to capture a specific part.
Step 5: Once selected, you can also resize and reposition before saving. Otherwise, the screenshot you capture will be saved in your gallery by default.
Method 3: Quick Screenshot from the Status Bar
This method is quite simple; you just need to swipe down from the status bar and tap on the Screenshot icon, as shown in the image below, to capture a screenshot on your Huawei Mate 10 Pro.
