1. CES 2019: LG TWINWash Continues to Shine
Once again, LG's new generation twin washing machine and smart wardrobe care cabinet, along with other advanced laundry solutions, were honored at CES 2019.
The Creative Award at the CES 2019 International Technology Exhibition once again acknowledges LG TWINWash products and solutions. Notably, the large-capacity LG TWINWash washing machine and LG Styler 2019 smart clothing care cabinet were officially recognized. Along with advanced, innovative technologies and smart features, LG's comprehensive laundry and clothing care products and solutions have set new standards for future laundry convenience.
Continuing the unique dual-drum design, the new 2019 LG TWINWash generation boasts larger washing capacity. The front-facing main drum measures up to 27 inches, while the main drum has been increased in size to accommodate even large comforters and beddings. The mini drum (SideKick) below is ideal for small loads or delicate fabrics that require gentle movements.
Additionally, LG has timely upgraded its TWINWash 2019 washing machine line with a series of new, premium technologies, bringing more convenience to users. Specifically, with the advanced TurboWash 360-degree technology, the washing machine utilizes 5 strong water jets and 6 Motion washing technology, enabling deep and fast water penetration into each fabric fiber. The product is also equipped with an improved DUAL Inverter Heat Pump dryer, saving electricity and using drying temperatures to protect clothes better and minimize shrinking. Moreover, the automatic cleaning mode removes lint from the machine, ensuring superior drying results and helping users save time on regular washing machine maintenance.
Furthermore, thanks to Wi-Fi integration and the SmartThinQ app, the LG TWINWash 2019 washing machine line can connect with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing users to remotely turn the machine on or off, start or pause cycles, monitor wash cycles from a distance, and access many other features using voice commands on their smartphones.
Accompanying the LG TWINWash 2019 washing machine is the LG Styler 2019 smart clothing care cabinet generation. Utilizing LG Styler's core technology, the LG TrueSteam water vapor washing technology helps eliminate over 99.9% of bacteria on clothes, keeping the wardrobe clean. Unlike conventional steam washing machines, the LG Styler gently washes clothes with slight movements while simultaneously eliminating unpleasant odors. Additionally, LG utilizes energy-saving drying technology (by regenerating heat from the hot, humid air inside the cabinet) and the Pants Crease Care feature, which flattens trousers and removes wrinkles while maintaining their creases and folds without ironing.
