VinFast unveils 5 sleek electric car models

VinFast has unveiled 5 electric models, namely VF5, VF6, VF7, VF8, and VF9, at the CES 2022 event on January 06. It's evident that VinFast is embracing the electric vehicle trend, considering the increasing attention major global car manufacturers are paying to this segment. This trend is still quite novel in Vietnam.

Notably, VinFast VF5 is a small-sized A-segment SUV with the potential to become a popular choice in Vietnam. While small-sized A-segment SUV models currently available in the Vietnamese market are powered by gasoline engines, the VF5 is entirely electric. This represents the VF5's significant competitive advantage and could position it as VinFast's most attractive model in terms of pricing.

Although VinFast VF6 has been unveiled, its technical specifications have not been disclosed. However, representatives from Vietnam have positioned this vehicle in the B-segment high-riding vehicle category - competing directly with Hyundai Kona or Kia Seltos. ROG Flow Z13 - Gaming laptop meets tablet

ROG Flow Z13 is a 13.4-inch laptop with a stand that extends from the back, which has garnered significant interest from users since its introduction on the first day of CES 2022. The laptop shares many design similarities with Microsoft's Surface Go.

Intel 12th Gen - Intel's most powerful laptop chip yet

At CES 2022, Intel unveiled its latest Alder Lake chip generation, led by the Core i9-12900HK. The company boldly claims this to be the 'fastest mobile chip'.

Specifically, the i9-12900HK chip is expected to deliver gaming performance up to 28% faster than its predecessor, the i9-11980HK. For office tasks, Intel states that with Premiere Pro, their new chip can outperform even Apple's M1 Max, with Puget Bench scores increased to 44%.

This new product lineup represents Intel's largest leap forward after a prolonged period of dormancy. It can be said that this is a significant effort and investment by Intel to compete against the immense pressure from increasingly formidable competitors in the market in recent years.

AMD makes a move with the Ryzen 6000 Series Mobile chip lineup

AMD Ryzen 6000 Series Mobile stands out as AMD's noteworthy offering, first introduced at CES 2022.

All Ryzen 6000 Series Mobile CPUs remain 8-core, but significant upgrades have been made with the new 'Zen 3+' architecture on the 6nm process. The Ryzen 6000 series will continue to be divided into two groups: high-performance (with 35W and 45W thermal power dissipation) and power-efficient (with 15W and 28W thermal power dissipation).

One of the key points emphasized by AMD with this processor is the all-core boost frequency the product can achieve, specifically 5.0GHz on the 8-core 16-thread Ryzen 9 6980HX, surpassing the previous best of 4.8GHz on the Ryzen 9 5950HX last year. Thus, AMD will deliver superior technology to maximize user experience this year.

Additionally, integrated technologies such as USB4 and Wi-Fi 6E are also equipped on the Ryzen 6000 series, promising to make Ryzen 6000 a formidable contender in this year's technology race.

Nvidia introduces powerhouse graphics cards for the 'wealthy' gamers

At CES 2022, Nvidia has just announced the mobile versions of RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti priced at $1,499 (approximately 34 million VND) and $2,499 (approximately 56 million VND) respectively.

Although Nvidia has not disclosed many technical specifications, the company reveals that gamers can play games at Ultra 1440p graphics level and still achieve frame rates of around 100-120fps, with the 3080 Ti outperforming the Titan RTX on desktop.

This laptop version of RTX 3080 Ti will feature 16GB GDDR6 graphics memory, higher than the 12GB in the desktop version. According to NVIDIA, the laptop version will outperform previous generations of Titan RTX on desktops. Meanwhile, the RTX 3070 Ti for laptops will also be 1.7 times faster than the RTX 2070 Super.

Additionally, the company also announced that the products can integrate “Rapid Core Scaling” to disable some GPU cores while overclocking others to increase performance by up to 3 times. Extra battery life can be provided, up to 70%, thanks to Battery Boost 2.0.

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED - the marvel of foldable screen laptops

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is the foldable screen laptop model that Asus unveiled at CES 2022. Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is expected to officially hit the market in the second quarter of 2022.

With this product, Asus has equipped the latest cutting-edge technologies to address many common weaknesses of foldable screen laptop models.

Zenbook 17 Fold OLED features a large 17-inch foldable screen, incredibly compact and lightweight. The laptop also comes with a detachable keyboard, when you fold the device about 90 degrees and place the keyboard on one side, the other side transforms into a screen. Therefore, you can use the device just like a regular laptop alternating between both sides.

In terms of configuration, the machine is equipped with Intel Core i7 U-Series gen 12, up to 16GB of RAM, and a whopping 1TB of internal storage for excellent storage capacity. Asus also pre-installs the 'ScreenXpert 2' software to help you easily organize content and maximize the foldable screen design.

The laptop will easily handle various demanding tasks such as high-performance gaming, graphic design, etc., with optimized processor and large RAM capacity for smooth multitasking.
