Spacetop, the unique laptop abandoning traditional screens in favor of augmented reality, has officially hit the market. Following a trial phase, Sightful has decided to release Spacetop in limited quantities. Developed by Sightful, the product is priced at $2,150 and is now available on their website.
Mr. Tamir Berliner, CEO of Sightful, shares, 'The feedback we received during the early access phase has helped optimize the software, bringing Spacetop closer to users so they can experience the new leap in laptop evolution and the value that AR technology can bring to their daily lives.'

In theory, the Spacetop 'laptop' model can generate a virtual screen of up to 100 inches, providing a larger display space than conventional laptop screens. To use and interact with the screen, users will need to wear integrated augmented reality glasses.
The product is praised for its user-friendly interface as Spacetop operates just like any other personal computer with a mouse and keyboard. The only difference is that the images are displayed on augmented reality glasses. All icons and windows you see will be displayed right in front of you.

Spacetop is poised to attract early adopters interested in an innovative way to interact with computers. In terms of specifications, Spacetop utilizes the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chip, integrates 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of storage, and runs on a customized version of the Android operating system. Expected battery life is around five hours.
With Spacetop, Sightful has opened up a new direction in the laptop industry, promising to deliver a unique and creative computer experience for users interested in advanced technology. What do you think about this solution? Leave your comments below!
