Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Spy X Family stand out as manga sensations in recent times.
Despite their relatively young age, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Spy X Family have quickly captured the hearts of manga enthusiasts. All three mangas have been adapted into anime (Chainsaw Man's release date is yet to be confirmed) and have achieved significant success both in Japan and internationally.

These three series also top the charts for best-selling manga in The New York Times for the month of May, under the Graphic and Manga category, as announced at the beginning of this year.

The 10th volume of Chainsaw Man, written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, secures the second position in the bestseller list. Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen, with its 15th volume, holds the third position, while its 0th volume ranks 14th. The 7th volume of Spy X Family, penned by Tatsuya Endo, claims the fifth spot, and its first volume stands at the seventh position.

The Graphic Book and Manga category of The New York Times has been ranking the best-selling books since October 2019. With the growth of manga, comics, and visual books in general, this category holds great promise.

Previously, several other Japanese manga titles have made it to The New York Times bestseller list. The 30th volume of My Hero Academia secured the 3rd position in the rankings for the past April. In the same month, the first volume of Demon Slayer claimed the 7th spot in the bestselling list, and the debut volume of Chainsaw Man ranked 10th; accompanied by numerous other manga titles.
