In previous articles, Mytour has covered how to change TP Link Wi-Fi passwords. While this method is easy to execute, it only applies to certain modems. For TL-TL-WA801ND, users cannot apply the same method as changing TP Link Wi-Fi passwords. Despite both being low-tier TP Link products, changing the TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi password requires a different approach.

How to Change TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi Password:
Step 1: To change TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi password, enter the address: 192.168.1.1 in the URL bar of any browser to access TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi settings.
A login dialog appears; access the Username and Password for TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi.
The default username and password are:
User: Admin
Password: Admin
Afterwards, press Login to log in and proceed with changing TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi password.
In the TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi interface, click on Wireless. This section allows you to modify Wi-Fi settings. Continue to Wireless Security to access the Wi-Fi security settings.
Step 2: Similar to other TP-Link modems, you will find the Radius Password line. Delete the old password and enter the new password here. Finally, press Save at the bottom to save the editing operation.
Step 3: Next, proceed to Reboot the Modem by navigating to System Tools. Choose Reboot to restart the TL-WA801ND modem. Click Reboot again and wait for the modem to restart in a few minutes.
Wait for the modem to complete the restart process.
After successfully changing the TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi password, you can immediately use the new Wi-Fi. Access the Wi-Fi network and enter the password you just changed on your laptop, smartphone, or other devices.
Similarly, users can integrate the Viettel network with the TL-WA801ND modem. However, the method we introduced for changing the Viettel Wi-Fi password cannot be applied to TL-WA801ND. Instead of following the method for changing Viettel Wi-Fi password with other TP-Link modems, it's advisable to change the TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi password to address this issue at its root. Regularly changing the TL-WA801ND Wi-Fi password helps protect your connection and prevent data leakage.
