To change the default font in Word, open a new document and follow these steps:
Step 1: On the Home tab in the toolbar, in the Font section, click the arrow as shown below. Alternatively, press the Ctrl +D key combination.
Step 2: Customize the font you want to set as default. You can see the changes in the Preview section.
Step 3: Once customized, click on Set As Default.
Step 4: Select All documents based on the Normal template. Then press OK to confirm.
