Step 1: To modify the default installation paths, press Windows + R or go to Start and type “run” into the search bar below. Then select Run at the top.
Step 2: Next, enter “regedit” as shown below
If a window like the one below appears on some machines, press Yes to proceed.
Step 3: Then, locate the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE => Software =>Microsoft=>Windows=>CurrentVersion
Step 4: Double-click on the ProgramFilesDir key, then modify the path as desired. Here, I'm changing the path to D:\Installs, which may vary for you.
Then, click Ok and close the window. If the changes haven't taken effect yet, restart your computer.
