Changing profile picture, temporary avatar on Facebook
Exciting news for Facebook users on Android and iPhone! Now you can temporarily change your profile picture on Facebook.
Step 1: Log in to Facebook on your computer. Go to your Facebook profile by clicking on the profile icon. Alternatively, you can press Alt + 2 to quickly access your Facebook profile.
Step 2: Click on the Facebook avatar you want to change the temporary profile picture for.
Step 3: Here, you'll find options to Upload a photo, Take Photo, or use suggested photos from Facebook's photo library to change your temporary Facebook profile picture.
Step 4: If you're selecting a photo from your computer, simply click on the image in the Open dialog box and press
Step 5: In the profile picture creation interface, you can customize your Facebook photo in the description section under Add a description. For more advanced editing and effects on your Facebook profile picture, click Edit to add text, filters, and more.
Click Edit to access the Facebook profile picture editing page.

Step 6: Click on Make Temporary to set your Facebook profile picture as temporary.
Press Make Temporary to confirm and save your temporary Facebook profile picture.
You'll have options to set your temporary Facebook profile picture for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, Never (to keep your current picture), and Custom. With Custom, you can specify exactly when to revert to your old Facebook avatar.
There are plenty of time options for you to choose from.
Click Set to save. Then, press Save to save the image, and you're all set to change your temporary profile picture on Facebook.
After changing your temporary Facebook profile picture, you can further customize it by clicking on your Facebook profile picture and selecting Change end time, Switch to previous picture now, or Keep as permanent picture. Click Agree to accept changing back to your old picture if desired.
