This means that the ruler in PowerPoint displays measurements in inches rather than centimeters or millimeters. In Vietnam, less than 1% of the population uses inches, making it unnecessary and impractical for most users. You'll need to change it to centimeters or millimeters to fully utilize PowerPoint's ruler feature.
Changing the measurement units on your computer won't affect other software programs and might even prompt them to switch to using the metric system as their primary measuring tool instead of the U.S. system.
Step 1: Open the Start Menu and type Control Panel to access it.
Step 2: Then, select the Clock and Region option to set time, coordinates, location, etc.
Step 3: Next, choose the Region tab to view additional information related to the current location.
Step 4: When the Region window appears, select the Formats (1) tab and choose Additional Settings… (2) to view extended settings.
Step 5: In the Customize Format window, locate the Measurement System and change it to Metric (metric measurement system).
Step 6: Now, restart PowerPoint and the Ruler bar has been changed to Centimeters - the commonly used unit in Vietnam.
