In the latest update, Instagram has introduced a new feature for personal messaging interface, similar to Facebook. Follow the instructions below to experience this new interface.
Step 1: On the main interface of Instagram, select the Messages (1) section and open the conversation you want to modify the interface for.
Step 2: In the conversation interface, click on the Expand (2) icon to view related settings.
Step 3: In the expanded settings, you will find the Themes section, and you can select them to change the message interface.
Step 4: The theme system on Instagram has been expanded with many additional options, featuring a variety of different message theme effects.
Step 5: Changing the message theme on Instagram does not affect the message theme on Messenger, so feel free to customize them.
