How to Change Huawei VNPT WiFi Name
To rename your Huawei VNPT WiFi, access the modem settings through your browser. Use popular browsers like Google Chrome or Firefox for this task.
Step 1: Visit the address: 192.168.100.1
Enter your username and password:
User: root
Password: admin
Press Login to sign in.
Alternatively, check the details, including username and password, on the back of the modem.
Step 2: Select the WLAN tab in the Huawei Modem interface.
In the SSID section, input your new WiFi name.
For the WPA PresharedKey, you can set a new WiFi password.
Step 3: Finally, click Apply to save the changes you've made.
After successfully saving the changes, all access to WiFi from the previous address will be lost. You need to enter the new WiFi address to connect.
